Mike's French Fries has been in operation for almost 30 years. It has been located in the Beer Store parking lot in Trenton, Ontario for over 22 years. We have had the pleasure of buying and operating it since August 2019 and believe we have restored its reputation in full. We use the fresh potatoes, outstanding cheese curd and amazing gravy! We have currently closed for the season and look forward to serving you in May 2021.

Dear Customers,

Due to new provincial legislation, all chip trucks predating 2006 must undergo a physical TSSA inspection. We applied for this in March but are being told it will take a minimum of 3 months before then can fit us in. We truly apologize to you as we wanted to open in late April but this is totally beyond our control. What is strange is that Doug Ford told us he would disband the TSSA when he was elected 4 years ago, apparently not!

We thank you for your continued patience and will be sure to let you know as soon as we receive the permit and are ready to open.

Dear Customers,

LAST DAY OF THE SEASON. Mike’s Fries is open from 12 to 5 pm or until we sell out.

Fun fact: this season we peeled, hand-chipped, blanched and fried 29,850 lbs. of potatoes. Needless to say, we couldn’t have done it without you! Ian and I would again like to thank each of you for your patronage, support and friendship ~ it has meant the world to us and we will genuinely miss you.

Dear Customers,

Our last day of the season is SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10.

As many of you know, we have decided to retire and have sold the business. We would like to take this time to thank you for your support and friendship over the past 3 years. We hope to see you before we close and please know, we will truly miss you!

Mike's French Fries (located in the Trenton Beer Store parking lot) is looking for a reliable, dedicated "French Fry Chipper". Your 38-hour work week consists of Wednesday through Saturday (10 am to 6 pm) and Sunday (11 am to 5 pm). Hourly rate of $14/hour is paid weekly. Contract runs from July 20 to October 10, 2021

Qualifications are as follows :
* able to lift 50 lbs.
* able to stand on feet for majority of 8 hour shift
* manual hand dexterity
* able to multi-task
* previous prep restaurant experience
* proven solid work ethic
* COVID Vaccine
