To the City of Quinte West — thank you. 🙏

From permits to patience, from small favours to big support, you’ve been part of the fabric of The Grind and Vine since day one. Running a small business in this community has been a privilege, and it’s people and places like you that make Quinte West special.

As we close this chapter, we wanted to take a moment to say: we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful. 💛

especially to our champion of Rural Jim Harrison!

Ever wonder why your latte tastes like that? Meet the reason. ☕

For as long as we’ve been open, Matt at Lord & Lady Coffee has been roasting the beans behind every cup we’ve poured — and honestly, he’s part of the reason so many of you kept coming back through our doors.

As we get ready to close this chapter of The Grind & Vine, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Small roaster, big flavor, huge heart — that’s the Lord & Lady difference, and we’ve been lucky to pour it every single day.

Matt, thank you for being part of this story from the start. 🙌

It only felt right to raise our first celebratory glass to one of our day ones. 🥂

If you’ve ever had a sandwich at The Grind & Vine, you’ve had a Flossie’s sandwich — Flossie’s Sandwiches has been in our corner pretty much since day one, slinging the good stuff.

Cheers to the sandwiches that started it all. 🍷🥪

Thank you, Flossie’s — this one’s for you.

The Grind & Vine is closing its doors as of August 31st.

15 years of coffee, conversation, and above all, community — right here in downtown Trenton.

I was just 20 when I took the leap and bought this place. It gave me wings. It taught me how to lead, how to build something real, and how to weather every hard season along the way — through it all, this community never stopped showing up.

What stays with me isn’t the hard stuff. It’s you. The coffee runs, the late-night talks, the friendships built one cup at a time.

Over these final weeks, come by. Share a memory. Say goodbye properly.

Thank you, Trenton. This will always be a part of me. 🤍
