Dear Customers,

Due to new provincial legislation, all chip trucks predating 2006 must now undergo a physical TSSA inspection. We applied for this in March but are being told it will take a minimum of 3 months before they can fit us in. We apologize as we wanted to open in late April but this is totally beyond our control. What is strange is that Doug Ford had said he was going to disband the TSSA 4 years ago when he was elected, apparently not!

We thank you for your continued patience and will be sure to let you know as soon as receive the permit to open.

Our apologies- we had to close today before noon. My mother took a turn for the worse and I was allowed to visit with her at the nursing home. She is not long for this world. Our plan is to open tomorrow at 11 am unless she passes.

We are pleased to announce that Mike's Fries is OPENING on WEDNESDAY, MAY 13th.

Due to COVID-19, we ask that everyone continue to practice social distancing by staying 6 feet apart at the chip truck. Condiments (for the time being) will no longer be available outside of the take-out window. We will either put them on for you or we will give you individual packets to take with you.

We will still accept cash; however in our efforts to flatten the curve, Mike's Fries will now offer Interac Debit at a cost of $0.30 per transaction.

We have missed you and look forward to seeing you soon!
