Location is Warkworth, Ontario... Corner of Highway 30 and County Rd. 29 (12 mins north of 401) . As a seasonal chip truck, J's Place has kept the name of the original starting owner, James Jamison. J's Chip Truck has been apart of Trent Hills communities for 35+ years. As a Newfoundland Owner, we also have a taste of Newfoundland on the menu! Open May through September weather permitting. The Bridge Hospice is excited to host its annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful Warkworth Golf Club! This special event brings our community together for a day of great golf, friendly competition, and meaningful support for hospice care in our region.

Registration is now open, and golfers of all skill levels are welcome to participate. Gather your team, enjoy a fantastic day on the course, and help make a difference.

Volunteers, garden tools, and a whole lot of heart - that’s what Day of Caring is all about. On June 5, our United Way at Work volunteers will head out into the community once again to help with spring projects for local nonprofits, charities, and seniors - gardening, planting, painting, pruning and general yard clean-up....because sometimes the smallest help means the most. ❤️

Next week, Trent Hills will honour veterans with Remembrance Day events.

🌺 Sunday, November 9 - Campbellford Legion Branch 103 will join the Alderville First Nation Remembrance Ceremony at 12:30 pm (Meeting point: Alderville Community Centre)

🌺 Monday, November 10 - Candlelight Walk and Vigil - Begins at 6:30 pm at Campbellford Legion (34 Bridge St. W.)

🌺 Tuesday, November 11 (Remembrance Day)

Hastings - parade begins at 10:30 am. Ceremony at 10:55 am at the Cenotaph. (corner of Bridge St. and Front St.) Luncheon to follow at the Hastings Legion Branch 106 (10 Front St. W)

Warkworth - Ceremony at 10:50 am at the Cenotaph (35 Church St., in front of Ah! Arts Centre). Light lunch to follow at the Warkworth Legion (12 Norham Rd.).

Trent River Remembrance Day Ceremony - November 11 at 1 pm

Campbellford - Parade forms at 10:30 am (34 Bridge St. W). Ceremony at 10:58 am at the Cenotaph on Queen St. Light luncheon to follow. Veterans Tribute Dinner at 6 pm — free for all veterans (plus-one guest welcome; Legion membership not required). Dinner catered by Campbellford’s own Dockside Bistro. (All community members welcome)
