Sacred × – Q***r Lives, Sacred Questions

What happens when we look for the sacred in the places q***r people love, thrive, create, and gather?

Sacred × is a new monthly, Sunday-evening series led by Rev. Junia Joplin, exploring the intersections of spirituality with four dimensions of q***r experience: polyamory, kink, drag, and rave culture.

Each evening will bring q***r experience and spirituality into conversation - and ask what they might have to teach one another.

The series kicks off with:

Sacred × Abundance
Polyamory, Love, and the Sacred

Sunday, September 20 · 7:00 p.m. · Understory Café

505 Church St, Toronto – just north of Church and Wellesley

Joining Rev. June will be special guest Rev. Heather Morgan. Morgan is an emerging theologian whose work draws on embodied wisdom and lived experience to challenge traditional understandings of theology, God, humanity, and right relationships.

Together, we’ll explore what nonmonogamy might teach us about love, abundance, relationship, and the sacred – and what can happen when we stop assuming that love and intimacy are limited resources.

Space for this first gathering will be limited. Registration will be required, and there will be giveaways for those who register and join us.

Come curious. Bring your questions. Let’s see what happens when q***r experience and spirituality meet.

Want to buy an iced coffee for a good cause? Feel like dropping off some toothbrushes or tampons? We’re fundraising and collecting all weekend long for three orgs : Glad Day, 2SpiritedPeopleOfThe1stNations and h2hresponds.ca

And on Sunday afternoon between 2-4pm we’ll have Toronto Sisters there too!
