🌾✨ Did You Know?

Your sourdough starter doesn’t always need the same feeding ratio! 👀

A 1:1:1 feed is perfect for regular maintenance, but if your starter is peaking too quickly, try a 1:2:2 or even 1:5:5 ratio to give it more food and a longer fermentation. 🥣⏳

The right feeding ratio can make the difference between a weak starter and a loaf with amazing oven spring, beautiful ears, and an open crumb! 🍞✨

These are the little tips that make a big difference. That’s why I created this Did You Know? series—to share practical baking knowledge every sourdough baker should know.
