Menus with memory.
At a recent celebration of life, the family chose to work with Daniel et Daniel Catering & Events.
This choice was especially meaningful because the father whose life we were celebrating had requested them himself, in the menu notes he left for his final wishes. What followed was not simply catering.
It was a true custom menu, created with extraordinary thought, care, and attention to memory.
The care that Laura Mattiussi offered this family was unparalleled. She listened deeply. She asked the right questions. She understood that, in this work, food is never just food.
It can be a favourite dish.
A family story.
A small, beautiful way of saying, this was him.
Even the black and white cookie recreated especially for the gathering, connected to a childhood memory of the person being honoured.
I work with many caterers and venues, and while thoughtful customization is often possible, what Daniel et Daniel can offer is truly exceptional.
Because when a menu holds memory, it actually becomes part of the tribute.
