🌎🥘 Happy World Paella Day! 🇪🇸

Today we’re celebrating one of Spain’s most iconic dishes… and honestly, we think it deserves its own holiday. 😉

Saffron-infused rice, juicy prawns, mussels, clams, fish, peppers, peas and all that deliciousness coming together in one pan. Yes, we’re all about that socarrat too.

At La Paella, paella is meant to be shared, passed around the table, enjoyed slowly and accompanied by good w**e, good conversation and even better company.

🥘 New Menu Feature 🥘

What started out as a special for Father’s Day, turned into a much requested favourite!

Indulge in our slow-cooked, braised boneless short ribs, served with delicate Spanish white asparagus and blistered shish*to peppers.
Rich, comforting, and full of flavour, this dish is perfect for sharing and is available in portions for 2 or 4 guests.

*Traditional socarrat (the prized crispy, caramelized rice crust) available upon request.

In usual Toronto fashion, a wet and wintry spring led straight into a stinking-hot summer. But the rain is (apparently) making a triumphant return—which is pretty rude, because now we’ve had a taste of sweet, sweet patio weather. It’s one thing for a restaurant to put up some umbrellas, but those are useless in anything worse than a sun shower. So we rounded up some of our favourite spots with actual covered patios, perfect for riding out storms with a beverage or three. Golden, crispy seafood made for sharing (or not 😉), paired with a refreshing glass of sangria and a little sunshine. That’s the La Paella way.

Our Frito Mixto de Pescado is made of a mix of fried seafood. Calamari, shrimp, scallops, and mussels on a bed of seasoned red onion. Served with lemon and house aioli.
