THE END OF THE ROAD
Since March of this year, we have been forced to close due to COVID-19. With no tourism and substantially lowered number of pedestrians in Kensington Market; we have no choice but to close the business for good. It was a tough decision.
Since our opening in November 2014, we were immediately featured in Toronto Star "Does Moo Frites Have the Best New French Fries in Toronto? Very Likely!" And within a very short period of time, we’ve consistently been recognized as one of the best fries and poutine destination in the City.

KENSINGTON IS OUR HOME
In case you didn’t know, we also live in the Market as well. Throughout the past six years we have met and served so many wonderful friends and neighbours. Kensington is an amazing neighbourhood, and we are superbly proud to say “we’re from the Market”. Thank you for giving us lifetime memories that will never be forgotten. It has been our home, and we will miss you dearly Kensington Market.
THANK YOU
Thank you to our partners. Your support puts Moo Frites on the map. May your dedication and fine work continue to strive even further in the many years to come.
Thank you to all our staff for being a great part of our team. Without your help and hard work, Moo Frites wouldn’t be a destination in Toronto. I’ll miss our fun times working together. Let’s grab a drink and catch up!
Thank you SRB. You are the double rainbow. We have made tons of memories, and without your never-ending physical and emotional support, and dealing with all the rollercoaster rides; I would have gone through hell and never came back. Your support kept me going. Let’s make more memories.
To my amazing family and friends, I literally could not have gone through this journey without you guys, especially my beloved mother, sister and brother-in-law. You guys often gave me financial, emotional, mental and physical support and advice; and without them, there’s no Moo Frites. Thank you for continuously holding my hands throughout this adventure.

If you are interested in continuing the Moo Frites brand and business as new ownership, either street retail, events, food court or even food trucks, don’t hesitate to contact me. Hopefully you can resume the hard work we’ve put in, and preserve the strong brand of Moo Frites and our beloved customers, to continue serving one of the best frites and poutines in Toronto.

WHAT’S NEXT?
When one door closes, another door opens. I am now actively looking to get back into the public sector, to make use of what I’ve learned and help an in-house marketing team strive for great results.
If there’s a job opportunity out there you think will greatly benefit with what I can offer, I would love to discuss how I can help you and your team prosper.

During this tough time, please continue to visit Kensington Market and support our neighbours either through online orders, curb-side pick-ups, or other safe methods. They are all independent mom & pop shops putting endless hours with their sweat and tears. They are what makes Kensington special and unique.
If you would like to help preserve Kensington Market’s unique character and place in the City, please consider donating to Friends of Kensington Market on their website fokm.ca. Their great work includes fighting against ghost hotels, preserve the built form and historic function of the market, increase public awareness of issues affecting the community, and much more.
May everyone continue to fight against racial inequality and police brutality, while being safe during this pandemic time. 2020 has not been a great year, but it doesn’t mean there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Keep on fighting Toronto!
It was a great run, and we are proud of what we have achieved – but the end is here. Thank you for having us.
Ambrose, proud owner of Moo Frites.
