It is with extreme sadness that I have to inform everyone that Saturday September 26th will be our last day of operation for White Elephant Restaurant and Bar. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who dined, drank,laughed, danced and listened to our entertainment we offered, over the last couple of years. We will greatly miss our core of regular customers. We made a lot of friends for life and that, we feel, is priceless and made the journey an extremely enjoyable one! It is very fitting that tonight we present for the last time, Sean Pinchin, as our musical guest. Sean was the first act to ever grace our stage and we are very honoured to end our Friday Night Live Music with Sean. You rock Bud! I would also like to take this time to thank every artist that ever performed for us. You are all true professionals and we were greatly entertained by each and every one of you! You all proved that Toronto is an excellent mecca of musical talent and I wish you all nothing but the best of luck in the future. I will try my best to come and see you guys whenever I am in the city to offer my support as a true fan!I would also like to thank Scott MacDonald who witnessed, probably, as many live shows as I did over the years. Your musical taste is as close to mine as anyone I know. I know you were entertained just as much as I was. Matthew Hallowell and Dave Beda, our closest neighbours to the restaurant. Thank you so much for your support and turning your friends onto White Elephant Restaurant and Bar. Greatly appreciated! Tania Morano and the girls from Toastr. Thank you for filling the place on the last Saturday evening of each month. Some very memorable evenings! Last, but certainly not least I need to thank my wife Bee, her sister Kitti Suaysukvicha and our brother in law Max( Vuththiwat Tanathornkosithgira), the owners of White Elephant Restaurant and Bar, for their endless hours of hard work, dedication and commitment to bringing, what I feel, was an excellent product to peoples tables each and every night. You can all walk away with your heads held high knowing that you did your best to bring top quality food and service to Corktown. Our high percentage of positive reviews can certainly attest to that! I am very proud of you! Thank you all so very much! I will definitely miss this place!
