Through the hard times and the good, Sneaky Dee’s (known to locals as “Dee’s”, “Sneak’s”, or “Sneaky’s”) has opened their arms and wrapped them tight around our bustling metropolis. This big bear hug has touched Toronto civilians and tourists alike and it’s born a vibrant community.

Sneaky Dee’s is beyond excited to unveil the FIRST WAVE lineup for the inaugural Second Summer Festival, coming to Toronto’s West End September 24–26.
This is a festival built for music fans who miss the thrill of discovery. Intimate rooms, unforgettable live sets, and the kind of bands you never expect to see this close, alongside future favourites just waiting to be found.

Congrats to Brendan “Sound Guy” Kennedy for winning Tour Manager of the Year at The Live Music Awards at Departure.

Many years ago, a recent graduate applied to be a sound tech at Sneaky Dee’s. He got the job and received many discounted nacho platters (King’s Crown Nachos without the beans). He treated every gig as if he were doing sound at an arena, with incredible passion, care and attention to detail.  

Fast forward to 2026: He’s toured the world, managed successful bands on the road, and mixed at Scotiabank Arena, RBC Amphitheatre and countless festivals. While still being the most down-to-earth person you could meet. That’s our “Sound Guy”.

And yes, Brendan still gets a food discount at Sneaky Dee’s even though he doesn’t need it anymore. Here’s to many more years of success in the music industry. 🍻
