Happy New Year everyone!✨🎉

A couple of days ago, we said goodbye to our Birchmount location after 10 years. It was a bittersweet moment for us as we served our customers one last time at this location. Since we announced that we were closing, we have received so many nice and encouraging messages from so many of you.

It’s been almost 20 years since we started Chef George as a catering business. Since then we have grown to open a takeout location and eventually moved to a bigger location with dine in. We have served some of our loyal customers throughout many milestones of their lives.. from their debut, to their weddings and to their baby’s birthdays. Even for takeout, we have had so many regular customers ordering their favourite chicken fried rice and breakfast for over 15 years. We are so thankful for each one of you.

We are taking a little break for a couple of months - but know that this isn’t goodbye. Keep in touch here on social media for updates or email us at [email protected] if you ever have any questions!

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted and we’ve got some pretty big news to share!

We opened our Birchmount location back in 2013 and we’re sad to announce that our last day of operation here will be on Dec 24th. Chef George has decided to sell the restaurant to take a break for a couple of months and figure out the future of our business. There were many factors that led to this decision, but God willing, we hope to find another place in the future that better fits the needs of our business.

Last day for takeout will be on Dec 17th. After this, we will be focusing on party tray orders for the holidays with our last day being Dec 24th. Please place your pre-orders by calling or emailing [email protected].

We are so grateful for your support over the years. Stick around and keep a look out for updates! Thank you everyone 💛

We are fully booked on June 18 & July 9 for party tray and platter orders - still some spots left for July 2.

For those inquiring about catering and placing an order, we will be slow to respond from June 20-29 as we are out of the country. Thank you for your understanding!

We have recently rearranged our space to fit the needs of both our private events and takeout service. Starting immediately, please use our side doors for all takeout and party tray orders. The front entrance will now only be used for private events. Thank you!

To celebrate this big milestone, after today, we will be closed until Thursday, Oct 14th. Regular business hours will resume on Friday, October 15th.
