Nine years ago, the Engineering Society opened a not-for-profit student run cafeteria in the Sanford Fleming Building. Run, employed, and operated by undergrads, it aimed to provide students with a cafeteria of their own where they can purchase healthy, economical and quality food and drinks. Thus, the Hard Hat Cafe was born! Conveniently located in the Sanford Fleming basement (come on, we know you spend half your life in SF!), we sell the cheapest food and drinks on campus. Be it scrumlicious pizza or delectable drinks, we sell it ALL! So don't waste your time trying to look for food far and wide in the cold Toronto winter... just walk down to the Pit to check us out!
