Come in to Peake Barbecue and you’ll find brisket sold by the pound, sandwiches, sausages, and sides—beans, slaw, potato salad. And from time to time, creamed corn, cornbread, and pecan tarts. All ready to go in minutes. And don’t forget the iced tea! Texas Style. Ontario Grown
Whenever possible we source everything we sell locally. We use Sheldon Creek Dairy products and Murphy's Farm, Breedon's Maple Syrup and the farmers of Holland Marsh and surroundings grow the cabbages, onions, and carrots we use in our slaw and Alliston’s farmers, provide the famous potatoes we put in our potato salad. (We have no idea where the pinto beans come from tho’).

Put some Lillias Chardonnay on ice and stepped outside to soak up the summer evening.
I love this time of year, when the sun lingers just a little longer, casting that golden light. It won’t last. Soon, the days will shorten and this glow will slip away earlier and earlier.
It’s precious—and I want to savour every bit of it.

All Canadian Easter Sunday dinner. The PitMaster relinquished the smoker for the Barbecue grill. Lamb was from in Grey County and was beyond fantastic Carolyn’s Block Pinot was perfect with the lamb. We certainly are blessed in this part of Ontario with lots of fantastic food and wine options.
