I had the great fortune of meeting Dolly.

It was years after I had been to Dollywood in Nashville. And it was years before she would make an epic Mötley Crüe song even more so.

The Dalai Lama has a saying that he likes to treat everyone he meets like an old friend.

And no one I've met has ever exuded that more than Dolly.

A lovely account by the name of Demanda Karal got me thinking.Β 

There are likely going to be 20+ candidates running to undo or do more of what our absentee landlord of a councillor leaves in his nearly quarter-century wake.Β
