Coconut Soup is a great aroma of herbs, the sweetness from vegetables, coconut milk aroma and creaminess, pleasent sour taste from lime.

The name Tom Yum is derived from two Thai words...
Tom refers to boiling
Yum refers to the spicy&sour flavor combination

So in essence, the name means "boiling hot&sour soup" with the addition of evaporated milk and good hit of Thai chilli paste and a hearty splash of lime juice add at the end.
