We wanted to make a sense of connection beyond a jar and a lid. The hands are connected when closed, unifying the two pieces. Some pieces are adorned with the traditional red silk which plays into the marriage or the union between the hands. Thank you .makes for teaching us how to knot.

There's a lot you can say with your hands through gestures and touch. It can create violence, pleasure, joy, play, and comfort. Imagine the feeling you get when you attempt to hold the hand of someone you're interested in. We tried to capture some of that feeling.

Each hand is made to help you connect with the vessel in a way you assign the hand to be. It can encourage you every day when you see it or help you with affirmations when you hold it. They can make you smile when it touches your nose or blush when it touches your chin.

Throw your hands up because it's .studio 's next exhibition 🙏🤞👌👍👉🙌🫵✋👊👇

This one is all about hands and connection. We rely on signals and gestures we create with our hands to let others know what we're thinking and feeling. What if ceramic pieces can do that too? What if these hands can remind us daily that we're doing great or make us laugh when we use them. This is our intention with all the pieces we created.

It's been wild with moving and unpacking, so our only sale will be at MUJI Atrium this year. If you're in the middle of holiday shopping, you should probably stop cause we got some fresh stuff coming your way. We'll have new functional ceramics from cups to ramen bowls. ❤️

Gonna be off socials for at least a month because I'm off in Korea leveling up. When I'm back, and I will share some big news. See you all soon :)
