Hello my cooking family!

It's been a busy year for my family as we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Yusra into the world!

So cooking has taken the backseat for a while.

However, I am slowly learning how to juggle motherhood and my love for cooking and well be sharing content slowly.

Showcased here is Afghan Kichery - slow cooked rice with mung bean, savory meatball curry and topped with minty yogurt souce.

Focaccia Bread Pizza

Is the perfect comfort bite for cooling autumn weather!!

Just look at the bounce!

This Focaccia bread was made with lots of love - took a whole 10hrs to finally bake!

The sauce is a homemade tomatoe sauce!

The toppins are chicken strips, dill pickles, jalapeños peppers, ricotta chesse, rosemary, lots of olive oil and some mozzarella!

It's so fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside - giving you the perfect bite!

It is super delicious - silky and sweet. Here is a curry version but it can be made in so many styles depending on the region of Afghanistan you are in.

This is one of our go to dishes for long winter nights and gloomy winter days.
