The time has come for us to give our final thanks. We have made the very difficult decision to close the doors of Lilā Ronnieās Beachside BBQ. We are very proud of what weāve done over the past 8 seasons here but the time has come for us to shift gears to wedding and event catering. Weād love to throw down one final jam night so stay tuned for details. š
Iād like to take a moment and personally give a few thank yous. To all of our amazing staff from the past 7 years, without you Lilā Ronnieās wouldnāt have been the welcoming space it was. Thank you for creating a fun, weird and open space that anyone could come to for a good time and to hear some rock and roll. I always felt like you were all a part of my family and we sure had fun.
Our amazing suppliers, thank you for your support through the years. Weāve always been proud of the ingredients weāve put on our plates & glasses and we owe that to you.
To Mackenzie Beach Resort, thanks for allowing us the space to grow and for growing alongside us. Excited to see whatās next.
To our musicians who came from far and wide to play at our venue; music will live on in this community, in my heart and in the hearts of my family forever. You helped us turn our kick-ass restaurant into one of the best venues in BC. We had some damn good shows and help launched some epic careers. Thank you. To Michael Jennings, that walk on the beach not only changed our lives for the next four years but so many others. Thank you.
To our loyal guests, our extended family, thank you for your never ending support, your love for real BBQ, your love for live music and your love for good times. The memories are endless.
To my family, friends and my business partners thank you for helping me chase my dreams and truly shape the man Iāve become.
To James, Marty, Em, Kim, Evelyn, Charlie, Raph, Oli, Lilā Raph, Wyatt, The Dougās, and the entire kitchen team. Thank you for embracing woodfire BBQ and never taking shortcuts. I love you all.
Itās time for us to let the fire burn out one last time⦠please donāt ever let the memories weāve shared fade away.
