It is with great sadness that I share with you all today that my father, Ting Sheng Lee, has passed away at the age of 65 after a battle with cancer for over 3 years.
My father immigrated to Timmins, Ontario, Canada in 1981 at the age of 25 with only $20 USD in his pocket.
On May 10, 1992, he opened Lily’s Restaurant with the help of my mother and have operated the business for 28 years. Me and my sister, Cassandra Lee, quite literally grew up in that restaurant so we have many fond memories there.
But with the passing of our father, the restaurant will be temporarily closed as we sort out the next best steps for our family.
We would like to thank the many loyal customers who came by to support us - we miss you all very much. Thank you for your support for the past 28 years.
My father requested not to have a service; however, we will be holding a visitation on December 3, 2021 from 7pm-9pm at the Lessard Stephen Funeral Home. All and any are welcome to attend.
