It is a magnificent setting below the Majestic Nor'Wester Mountain Range. Every hole has a spectacular mountain back drop. This splendid course has 18 championship holes that are excellent for all levels of golfers. On the course, the Kentucky Bluegrass Tee Boxes and Fairways and the Bentgrass Greens are trimmed to perfection. Ponds are abundant with small Koi fish and the mountain back drop is both dramatic and beautiful. Many golfers, who have played the course have commented that the course is comparable to some of the most picturesque courses in the world. A full restaurant is available for your pleasure whether it be at the Caddy Shack Lounge or the Balcony on the Green. A full Banquet menu and meeting facilities are also available. Today is Thank a Superintendent Day!

Earlier this year, Fort William was extremely fortunate to welcome Jeff Anderson to our Club. Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and we are excited to see the continued improvements to the course under his stewardship.

When Jeff arrived in Thunder Bay earlier this year, he was faced with a few challenges following two difficult seasons. He embraced those challenges head-on and has remained focused on improving playing conditions and restoring the course to its full potential.

His hard work and dedication are already paying off. Playing surfaces are healthier, and we are incredibly grateful for the care, passion, and commitment he brings to the job each and every day.

Keep up the great work, Jeff, and thank you for everything you do! 💙⛳
