Thunder Bay holds a sacred place in the Marathon of Hope. It is the city where Terry Foxโs legendary journey paused, but it is also the place where his legacy was handed to all of us to carry forward.
โAt Masala Grille, our restaurant has always been built on the spirit of community, warmth, and bringing people together around the same table. This September 20th, we are extending that table outdoors to step up, walk, and run side-by-side for a cause that touches every single one of our families.
โWe formed this community team because Terry showed us what hope looks like, but it takes a united community to keep that hope moving. You don't have to be a seasoned runner to join usโwhether you walk, roll, jog, cheer, or maybe choose to donate, every step we take together brings us closer to a cure for cancer.

As our main goal is to create awareness and participation in the Terry Fox Run, in return we want to offer you a chance to:

Our first draw will be held on Thursday, August 20th, but additional prizes will be awarded as participation grows.

Forty-five years ago, a young Canadian set out to change the world.
He never reached the finish line.
Today, Terry's journey begins again, starting with our friend Rama from Masala Grille, whose kindness and wonderful ideas reminded me that hope still grows... one person at a time.
Over the next seven weeks, Terry will travel throughout Thunder Bay.
Maybe he'll stop at your business.
Maybe your school.
Maybe your workplace.
Maybe your neighbourhood.
Not for a photo. But because somewhere, a child might ask, "Who was Terry Fox?" And in that moment, his story begins all over again.
Thunder Bay has always been part of Terry's journey. Let's show the next generation why it still is.
