Beginning Monday, June 8, River Street Cafe will be operating on our summer schedule.

🕣 Open Monday to Friday
☕ 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

We’ll still be serving up your favourite homemade soups, sandwiches, baked goods, coffee, and friendly smiles — just with slightly shorter summer hours.

River Street Cafe is more than lunches, coffee, and baking… it’s friendships, laughter, teamwork, and a place people genuinely look forward to visiting each day. ❤️

We’re looking for a few kind-hearted volunteers to join our kitchen crew and help us continue the warm, welcoming atmosphere our members and guests have come to love.

Whether you enjoy:

🧼 helping with dishes
☕ serving coffee
😊 or simply being part of a supportive team…

No fancy chef background required — just reliability, kindness, and a willingness to help.

The cafe has become a very special part of the 55 Plus Centre community, and volunteers are a huge part of what makes it all work.
