One of our favorite things about Eskenita? The people. ❤️

Families having lunch, friends catching up, couples on a food trip, and familiar faces we’ve been seeing for years.

We started Eskenita because we wanted to share the Filipino street food we grew up with. Almost 10 years later, seeing people enjoy it together still means a lot to us.

Thank you to everyone who comes by, brings their family and friends, and keeps coming back.

Almost 10 years of Eskenita—and Kim still comes back. ❤️

Over the years, customers try different things, families grow, and life changes… but somehow, we still get to see familiar faces walk through our doors.

For Kim, it’s our Filipino-style spaghetti and chicken gizzard skewers. For her partner, it’s the Tapsilog.

But our favorite part of this review wasn’t even the 12/10. 😂

It was hearing Kim say:

“It tastes like home.”

Because that’s exactly what we’ve always wanted Eskenita to be.

Imagine walking into a restaurant—and finding a childhood memory of yourself still hanging on the wall. 🥹❤️

Back in 2017, these siblings shared a meal here at Eskenita. Nine years later, they came back and were surprised to discover their younger selves in one of the photos we had kept all these years.

The kids grew up, but the memory stayed.

Our wall isn’t just decoration. It holds the families, friendships, and moments that have grown alongside Eskenita since 2017.

All the way from Virginia, USA—and Eskenita “ISAW” was on their must-have list! 🇺🇸🇨🇦🥹

They originally planned to visit our store, but when they found out we were closed and serving at the Mabuhay Festival, they didn’t give up. They came looking for our booth just to get their favorite isaw—and even bought extra as pasalubong for their trip back to Virginia!

Stories like this remind us that our regular customers are more than customers—you’re part of the Eskenita family. ❤️

This is what support looks like. ❤️

Jonathan and his partner have been supporting Eskenita for years — from ordering through our delivery apps, to visiting us at the store, to finding us at festivals.

At Taste of Manila, even with the heat, the long lines, and so many food choices around them, they still came back to support us. And they weren’t the only ones.

We saw so many familiar faces in that line — customers who order from us regularly, families we’ve gotten to know over the years, and people who made the effort to find our booth just to have Eskenita again.

Sometimes when we’re busy cooking and serving, we don’t get the chance to tell you how much that means to us.

You have choices. And you still choose us.
