There’s a little corner of the Island where the road gets quieter, the greenhouses get greener, and things tend to get slightly out of hand. 🌿

The tourists wander in wondering what they've found.

The repeat offenders walk in like they've been here before.

Because they have.

The plants are everywhere, doing what plants do best—looking innocent while taking over.

And somewhere nearby, Saucy Apple is feeding people who were absolutely not planning on staying for lunch.

Nobody seems particularly concerned about how any of this happened.

Which is probably for the best.

So if you're passing through, live here, or simply have a suspicious amount of time to wander around...

So... what exactly is going on at JD'S? 🌿

Honestly, it's getting a little out of hand.

The tropicals are hiding in the greenhouse.

The perennials have finally escaped to the front and are now greeting people before we do!

The trees and shrubs are still 30% OFF. The Garden Witch wants them gone. She's done watering.

Pottery and decor items have arrived for those who came in looking for something they absolutely didn't need.

And now there's fresh produce.

Because clearly, plants, pottery and baking weren't enough.

Saucy Apple is still quietly sabotaging good intentions from the other side of the building.

Come for a plant.

Leave wondering how you ended up with lunch.

It's becoming a tradition.

Just the usual nonsense!

🪴 The tropicals are still showing off.

🌳 The trees and shrubs are still 30% OFF, because apparently they haven't found their forever homes yet.

🌸 The annuals are doing their best to look irresistible.

🌹 The perennials are standing around pretending they don't need anyone's attention.

And Saucy Apple is quietly sabotaging everyone's willpower with homemade food, fresh baking, preserves, and treats that mysteriously disappear when nobody is looking.

So if you happen to be wandering around tomorrow...

Nobody around here seems interested in behaving.

The fairies still haven't shown up.

The Garden Witch is still busy evicting trees and shrubs.
(Translation: 30% OFF this long weekend.)

The tropicals remain convinced they are the most important things in the greenhouse.

And frankly... nobody has had the heart to argue with them.

Meanwhile, Saucy Apple continues to quietly sabotage everyone's willpower with homemade food, fresh baking, and desserts that seem to disappear suspiciously fast.

We've stopped trying to restore order.

Minor Setback... 🧚

The magical fairies were supposed to show up overnight.

Instead, they apparently found the cider.

The Garden Witch is not impressed.

Which may explain why all trees and shrubs are 30% OFF this long weekend.

The perennials are pretending none of this concerns them.

And then a whole group of new tropicals arrived...

Unfortunately, the new Black ZZ Plant has already decided it's the star of the greenhouse.

The others haven't argued... yet

Mostly because it won't let them get a word in!

Meanwhile, Saucy Apple continues to quietly sabotage everyone's willpower with fresh baking, homemade food, and treats that seem to disappear suspiciously fast.

The Garden Witch has reached her limit.

The trees and shrubs have officially been given their marching orders.

🌳🌿 30% OFF this long weekend only! 🌿🌳

Apparently she'd rather see them in your yard than water them one more time.

The perennials are staying out of it.

The tropicals declined to comment.

Apparently they're still waiting for a more exclusive audience.

Meanwhile, Saucy Apple has fresh Eccles cakes, Lithuanian Fruit Coffee Cake (which the Garden Witch insists tastes exactly the way she remembers), homemade baking, and plenty of reasons to "just have a look."

Come wander.

The plants have opinions, the baking has a reputation, and the Garden Witch appears to have taken over management.

Minutes from today's greenhouse staff meeting... 🌿

The Garden Witch would like everyone reminded that all trees and shrubs are still 25% OFF.

She has informed us she'd rather see them in your yard than water them again.

The annuals are also on sale and seem quite happy about it.

The perennials are Not on sale.

They're perfectly comfortable with that decision.

The tropicals were asked for a comment.

They declined.

Apparently they're still waiting for a more exclusive audience. 🪴

Meanwhile, Saucy Apple continues its campaign of homemade baking, good food, and desserts that have ruined more than a few "I'll be good today" promises.

The Garden Witch has been conducting an entirely unofficial investigation.

Every time someone wanders over from Saucy Apple carrying one of those white bakery boxes...

She asks...

"So... what's in the box?" 👀

You'd think people would dodge the question.

Not a chance.

They're absolutely delighted to confess.

"Blueberry scones!"

"Date squares!"

"Coffee cake!"

One gentleman even attempted to quietly sneak cinnamon buns to his vehicle.

His defence?

"I'm diabetic." 😏😂

The investigation is ongoing.

If you're visiting JD'S, please be advised that carrying a bakery box may result in friendly questioning.

The tropicals have asked us to say something... 🌿

Apparently they're getting a little tired of hearing:

"Ohhhh... look how cute!"
..followed immediately by footsteps walking away.

They'd like to remind everyone they're looking for permanent homes, not just compliments. 😏

The adorable animal planters certainly aren't making it any easier to resist.

If you happen to leave with a new tropical, you may as well wander into Saucy Apple too.

After all, successful adoptions deserve fresh cinnamon buns, coffee cake, date squares... and maybe lunch while you're at it.

They've already picked out their adorable little planters.

Now they're interviewing humans.

The tropical is deciding whether you're worthy.

(We'd avoid direct eye contact, just to be safe.)

If you survive the interview, reward yourself with a wander through Saucy Apple...
