The wait is over! Oum Bánh Mì Café opens tomorrow!

We are excited to welcome you in, and we are ready for what we always love to do most: sharing good food with good people.

"Oum" is a way to refer to an aunt or uncle in Khmer - the people who welcome you in, make sure you're fed, and somehow always finds room for one more at the table. And around here, that's us. It's the spirit we've built this café around.

Tomorrow is the start of our pre-launch, and we'll be personally sharing with you our Vietnamese-inspired bánh mi sandwiches, fresh salad rolls, and baked goods.

We'll be open from 10:30am to 5pm at 130 2840 Bremner Ave in Red Deer (located inside ).

And best of all, you can pre-order online a oumcafe.ca! There's limited quantities available each day, and we are excited to grow into this rhythm with you.

Get ready! We're introducing a Chicken Chow Mein to our menu line-up that will be available starting today, Friday, November 28 at 5pm!

It's a new option that is available only for a limited time. Stir-fried noodles, with chicken, and vegetables tossed in a savory, soy-based sauce - it is one you don't want to miss! So, stop by and join us for dine-in or take-out for this scrumptious noodle dish!

Come join our team! We're currently looking for a part-time casual server position to be part of our team!

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and passionate server to help shape memorable dining experiences. You can find yourself answering phone calls, placing take-out orders, arranging third-party deliveries, serving tables, through to helping with kitchen prep, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

If you work well in a dynamic team and can communicate well, as well as stay organized while juggling multiple tasks, we would love to meet you!

Our ideal team member has 1-3 years of experience in a restaurant environment and has a valid ProServe certification. Preference will be given to those available to cover a variety of shifts, including all-day Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday lunches.

Countdown to 2025! Are you ready for a fresh start to a great year ahead? Of course, we're re hoping your new year will be filled with plenty of delicious food!

As we wrap up the last of 2024, we'll be closed on Wednesday, January 1st for the New Year, and we're back in the kitchen on Thursday, January 2nd. We're looking forward to catching you before the end of 2024 and the start of 2025!
