Not only does this Luxury Lane Soapery Pink Grapefruit scented bar smell phenomenal, all proceeds from every bar purchased will be donated to Cape Breton SPCA to help other rescued good boys and girls. Its a win win for everyone!

At Café By the Bay, it is no secret that we are dog lovers. When Luxury Lane Soapery agreed to help us make a bar to raise money for a cause near and dear to our hearts, we couldn't have imagined a more perfect bar.
Mary puts so much love into every bar of soap, and its exactly the kind of love we needed for this project.

Using our own two rescues to represent! We hope to sell every single bar to raise funds for Nova Scotia SPCA - Cape Breton

100% of the proceeds from every single bar sold will be to donated to Nova Scotia SPCA - Cape Breton

Introducing our first of our Fall/Winter 2026 drinks. Peach Cobbler.

We arent ready to give up summer just yet...So what better way to cling onto summer with some peachy warmness.

This drink features a turmeric blend of ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper and a fruity peach syrup.

Don't worry the Pumpkin Spice is coming...just let us linger in summer a wee bit longer.

We've got some new cards in shop from Allison Tremain

Its a small world kind of story of how Allison came to be in the shop so I thought I'd share...

About 7 years ago we lived in a tiny town on Vancouver Island called Ucluelet. This tiny town had a whale festival every year and Allison's whale pictured above was the poster one year. That poster has hung in our home for 7years.

Not long ago another artist who we carry included a thank you card in her shipment to me with one of Allison's prints on it. When I intially saw the print and the name I was overcome with a familiarity I couldn't place. It bothered me for days. Finally, I looked up Allison and sure enough it was our Whales Allison from 7years ago!

Allison also now lives in Nova Scotia and her whale print also hangs on her wall ☺️

Welcome Allison Tremain! What a treat to cross paths again all the way on the other coast of Canada.

Restocked on cheese curds! We also brought in the non herby version of Skye Glens Storm Dip, Formage Blank. So light and fresh tasting, its delicious. I envision this with a little local honey drizzled over it (which we also sell) for the perfect pairing 🤤
