We will remain closed for the rest of the day.
We plan to reopen with regular hours tomorrow, as long as water service is restored.

Due to a water main break in the city, our location is temporarily closed.
We are awaiting updates from the city, and reopening time is currently unknown until repairs are completed.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please check back for updates—we will reopen as soon as it is safe and possible to do so.

8 p.m. Final Update: The work is now complete and water service is being restored.

As service is restored, residents may notice discoloured water or air in their lines. This is common when system pressure is being restored after a break. It is recommended to run cold water at one faucet until it clears. If the issue does not resolve, try again in an hour. If it persists, please contact 311.

2:45 p.m.: Crews have identified and isolated the break and are now cutting and removing the damaged piece.

The current estimated restoration time is 9 p.m.

12:15 p.m.- Due to a water main break on George St. in Sydney, residents in Sydney, Whitney Pier and the Alexandra St. area may experience low to no water pressure.

Public works crews are onsite to repair the break, however the estimated restoration time is unknown at this time.

Updates will shared as work progresses.
