A couple of weeks ago, we held a 2-day noodle bowl fundraiser to support baby Ziel and her fight for life. ❤️ (Please check Mighty Z page for more information.)
Even though the fundraiser was announced just a day before, the amount of love and support we received from the community was truly overwhelming. Over the two days, we sold nearly 200 bowls, and we could not be more grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success.
A huge thank you to the Women’s and Children Dept, Northside Medical Clinic, Medical/Surgery Dept, Renal Dept, OR, and ER Dept for your incredible support. It was truly heartwarming to see how baby Ziel’s story touched so many hearts.
We were also deeply moved by the kindness of people who reached out to order noodle bowls for their lunch or dinner simply to help support the cause. Seeing the community come together like this was such an amazing and emotional experience for all of us, especially for baby Ziel’s family.
In line with this, Arvin (baby Ziel’s uncle) came on behalf of their family to pick up the $2,000 cheque collected from the fundraiser event. He will be joining the Ambion family this weekend in Edmonton to personally visit and hand over the donation to baby Ziel’s parents.
