On August 7th, just like many of you, I ran upstairs to get a better view of the smokey mountain I can see from my house. What started as pure curiosity quickly turned into dread as I saw literal exploding flames.

Then, what felt like only moments later, the flames rolled over the mountain and were coming towards us...

It’s been 2 weeks since we lost fruit, ingredients and sales in our peak season, but we gained so much. We saw how our little town came together to support each other and how everyone knew we would come back stronger.

Thanks to the first responders who saved our town and everyone who helped even a single person during this.

Sorry to those who suffered loss we can’t imagine.

Granny’s is a place to gather with loved ones so we know that now more than ever we need to be open.
