✨2026/27 INSTALLATION SPOTLIGHT✨

We’re back with another look into this year’s Lights On Stratford installations! This week, we’re heading out west to check out THE TUNNEL, a phenomenal interactive light art piece by Alberta-based company B!G ART💡🎶🇨🇦

Narnia, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the NeverEnding Story... What do these stories have in common? That their magical adventures begin with a threshold✨

With THE TUNNEL, B!G ART takes this idea further with a one-way journey through a corridor of light, sound, and interactivity. Part immersive sculpture, part sensory instrument, participants become pilots of this cosmic passage through an interactive console device, manipulating sound and light in real time using 4 LED buttons that control speed, colour, fade, and pattern.

We’re beyond excited to have THE TUNNEL light up our Market Square this winter and cannot wait to welcome visitors near and far to experience this wonder!
