Change up for Friday Nights.
For the past couple of years, we’ve stayed open later on some Friday nights during Market in the Village. This year, we’ve decided not to extend our hours, and we’ll continue closing at 3:00 p.m. We’ll finish our cleanup, then head across the street to enjoy the market ourselves.
One of the things we love most about Market in the Village is that it gives us the opportunity to support other local businesses, farmers, bakers, and makers. If we’re working, we don’t get the chance to shop, visit, and enjoy everything the market has to offer.
The market has become such a wonderful part of downtown Stirling, and we see firsthand how much work Jess & Nate from Creekside Yoga, the volunteers, the Stirling- Rawdon BIA Stirling-Rawdon BIA ,and all of the vendors put into making it happen every single week. It brings so much energy to our downtown and is something we’re proud to support.
These photos are just a few of the goodies we brought home last night—fresh vegetables, local baking, pizza, dip, and more. And yes… it’s always a treat getting to eat food we had absolutely no part in making. 😂
If you haven’t been yet, be sure to stop by the Covered Bridge every Friday from 4–7 p.m. There’s an incredible lineup of local vendors, delicious food, and plenty of reasons to spend an evening supporting small businesses in our community.
