Wow— we've been blown away by the reception since our recent transition to a full-time events space, and it's all thanks to our amazing community here in St. John's 🎉

We're now completely booked for the remainder of the year, which means we're looking to start making plans for 2027. Whether you're looking for a space to host a seminar, business meeting, cocktail reception, or hands-on workshop, our flexible, gorgeous space can be the perfect fit 💫

Email us at Catering(at)StellasCircle(dot)ca or send us a DM here to book us for the next year. We think it will be our best yet 🥂

If you’ve been by our space at 142 recently, you may have noticed a new shine to our tabletops. That’s no accident— it’s thanks to the kindness and generosity of our friends at DSF Granite ♥️

Owners Paul and CJ, who also built our gorgeous bar, were kind enough to take time out of their busy schedules to buff and polish our tabletops, giving them a beautiful sheen and helping to showcase our indoor rental space. We’re so thankful to local businesses like DSF Granite for their generosity in helping to support the social enterprises we run here at Stella’s Circle 💫

If you’re in the market for custom built tile, granite, and more, give Paul and CJ a ring— you won’t regret it 😉

Many of you may know that Stella’s Circle was named in honour of our founder, Dr. Stella Burry— but did you know she had a passion for ceramic teacups? ☕️

In honour of her 129th birthday yesterday, some of our staff gathered to celebrate her life and achievements, including watching a short film about her life and the early days of the Naomi Centre and Emmanuel House. And in order to properly celebrate Dr. Burry, plenty of loose leaf tea was involved 🍃

We’re always delighted to be activating the space here at 142, whether through internal celebrations, cocktail receptions, staff workshops, and more. We’re so excited to see what the rest of the year will bring 💫

Being a multi-purpose event space isn’t just small plates and sound systems— sometimes, you have to get your hands dirty ✂️ 📄 🧵

As part of Stella’s Circle Staff Wellness initiative, the space here at 142 becomes a hub for crafting, sewing, scrapbooking, and more. If you’re interested in booking our space for an event like this, shoot us a message or email at catering(at)stellascircle(dot)com 💫

Earlier this month, was grateful to work with the Newfoundland and Labrador Anti-Poverty Coalition to host a roundtable discussion at on 142 Military Road 🌼

This Coalition is committed to poverty reduction across Newfoundland and Labrador. Its members consist of community organizations that work across various areas around the province, focused on improving access to housing, childcare, and food, as well as advancing social and economic justice. We’re thankful for the invaluable knowledge and insights that were shared throughout the discussions 💫

A sincere thank you to all the groups and individuals who joined us for this event, and who remain committed to this ongoing and important work 💕
