Afternoon everyone,
As many of you may already know, our Chef Tak has been battling a form of throat cancer and we’d like to just give you a little update on what that means for Tak and for Basho.
Fortunately, Tak is nearing the end of his treatments and will be taking a well-deserved break from the restaurant to rest and regain his strength. While this has been a difficult journey, we're incredibly grateful that the outlook is positive, and we remain hopeful that he'll soon be celebrating a clean bill of health.
Thank you for all the kindness you've shown him over the years. Your support means more than you know.
We'll keep you updated and look forward to welcoming Tak back behind the sushi bar when he is ready, and in the meantime our full kitchen menu will be available, including sashimis, tartares, and poke!
