SQUAMISH❤️

For the months of October, November & December we are donating $3 from every SQUAMISH clothing merchandise of ours sold to Pearl Space as part of our A-FRAME Pay It Forward Community initiative.

We are proud to once again support Pearl Space this time of year. Since 1981, this grassroots organization has been committed to the prevention of gender-based violence and supporting survivors of violence or abuse. They have evolved to now provide emergency housing programs, 24-hour response services, drop-in centres, outreach services, referrals, and advocacy for the entire Sea to Sky community thanks in large to a dedicated team of volunteers. They are also the creators of Squamish’s favourite non-profit thrift shop, Pearl's Value & Vintage Value & Vintage!

📢 They have a variety of ways to get involved with our community as well as fun ways to help out this time of year! To learn more about Pearl Space and their latest offerings and programs, give them a follow PearlSpace on Facebook or instagram, check out their newsletter or donate through their website today!

📆They will also be joining us for another fun night of our Community Night on Tuesday, November 17th for Trivia On Tap!

Please help us welcome David, our new Brewmaster, to the A-FRAME Brewing team! 🍻

David started homebrewing in Germany in 2018 and went pro in 2019, brewing in Germany, Ireland, and most recently Ontario. He even wrote a beginner’s guide to brewing, Bier brauen für Einsteiger, published in Germany.

What he loves most is understanding why things work: digging into recipes, ingredients, and fermentation to find the small tweaks that make better b**r. At A-FRAME, he’s especially excited to brew crisp la**rs, German and European-inspired b**rs, and hop-forward styles.

Outside the brewery, you’ll find David at the gym (he’s training for powerlifting competitions here in BC), working on a homebrew recipe, or exploring Squamish and the Sea to Sky Corridor.

David is excited to get to know the A-FRAME community, meet the regulars, and feel at home as part of the crew.

We had hoped our time with Derrick would be longer, but sometimes things change that are simply out of our hands. What we’re left with is gratitude, for all of it.

Derrick hit the ground brewing from day one, settling into our brewhouse, our culture, and our team like he’d always been here. He became fast friends with the whole crew, mastered our recipes — including another gold-winning Okanagan Lake Cream Ale at the 2025 Canada B**r Cup | Coupe des bières du Canada Cup — and brought his own creativity to life in new favourites like the LAKE LAJOIE Grisette and the McLEESE LAKE Modern WC IPA.

Derrick, thank you for the brews, the friendship, and the memories. We’re grateful our paths crossed, know we’ll keep in touch and excited to see where your craft takes you next!
