🍻 Welcome back September!🍻

Although it always feels like a bit of a shock, September is back. This week our feature sandwich is a Pesto Chicken Sandwich. We’ve toasted up a sesame seed bun and topped it with melted cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. Have your choice of side, we chose smashed potatoes and a 12oz pour of Front Seat Dod Amber Ale.

♠️❤️♣️♦️Cribage in the Taproom! ♦️♣️❤️♠️

Starting on Sunday September 20 we are hosting our 19th crib tournament at Talking Dog Brewing!

The $20 entry will include a pretzel and a pint of your choice. Each week there will be prizes, as well and a final winner on the final week of play and random draws.

This fall Tournament will happen through September and October and will be played over 5 weekends. Each Sunday games begin at 10:30 am for 90-120 minutes of play. We will have a round-robin each week to maximize diversity of play. Each week there are 3 games played. Games will occur on September 20, 27 and October 4, 18 and 25.

We are taking a maximum of 24 players per week. To register for each or every week you can sign up in the taproom or send us a DM. We cannot accommodate walk ins as we build the round robin ahead.

That’s right, it’s Trivia Night with Paul! We are excited for another week of Q3 Trivia League!

Trivia a great way to get out with friends and there is no fee to enter. Prizes are awarded for the top 3 teams and weekly points add up until the end of September for this trivia round. At least one team member must be present for your team to score points.

Tonight’s trivia is inspired by the 90s TV show Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego!

Making a reservation using the link in our bio is highly recommended. Trivia begins at 7pm!

This week our feature sandwich is a Meatball Flatbread! We’ve made Italian meatballs and scratch made marinara for this one! We chose a side of BBQ pasta salad and a 12 oz pour of Off Leash Hellhound IPA for a big and tasty lunch.

It’s going to be a gorgeous night at Edmonton Valley Zoo

Zoobrew at Edmonton Valley Zoo is one of our favourite summer events. This Saturday is the second of three ZooBrew events. The The Ark Project and Zoobrew at the Edmonton Valley Zoo work to create meaningful events at our zoo.

As a couple of scientists ourselves, we truthfully believe in the mission of this fundraising society. We strongly believe in animal conservation and think that it is important to be committed to protecting and preserving species on our planet.

Enjoy an adult only evening walking the zoo, be sure to stop by and see Paul and Travis!

So enjoy a glass and help us support our zoo! 🍻
