The Artisan's Garden Beautiful Seaside Garden Center, Gift Shop and Espresso bar, not just a shopping trip but an experience. We look forward to growing with you!

Grateful to work on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish and Nuu-Chah-Nulth peoples, specifically T’Sou-ke Nation, Scia’new Nation and Pacheedaht Nation. Take time to stroll through our beautiful gardens or take time out of your day to enjoy one of Mackenzie's Espresso bar treats from Creekmore Coffee or Queen Bee tea, from the island. Our gift shop has a nice variety of local and ethically sourced products, as well as house plants and beautiful pots to pair them in, we can plant them for you on the same day. Just a reminder we have expanded our beautiful shop to the upper level so on a dry day you can enjoy your coffee from the deck and watch the ever changing view of the Sooke Harbour, the Artisans garden and Olympic mountains. Garden Center season we have large variety of vegetables, shrubs, trees, fruit trees, perennials and annuals. As well as a potting station to build your own hanging basket or pots on site.

As the days start getting shorter and cosy season sets in, we are always happy to be the enablers of your candle habit. 🕯️

Our shelves are full of options right now, from Crowfoot Collective, to Woven Goods’ beeswax tapers, to candles from The Hobbyist, Louisa Jones, and Lucky You Candle Co.

This week we are spotlighting a local maker we love having on our shelves, Louisa Jones! Louisa Jones

What started in 2020 as a candle-making course and a birthday gift from her 3 children, turned into a full line of soy candles, gemstone roller perfumes, room sprays, and hand soaps, made right here in Sooke.

Some of her scents capture the feeling of the west coast of Vancouver Island, like one inspired by Mystic Beach, while others are fun, celebratory, and seasonal, think S’mores Please, Birthday Cake, or Cherry Blossom.

We remember seeing her getting her start at the Bilston Creek Farm market and love watching how far her products have come since. So glad to carry her work in the shop!

September means cooler weather, getting back in to the studio more often and prepping for fall shows.
Our next show is November 14 and 15 at The Artisan's Garden in their beautiful greenhouse. Hope to see you there!
