East Sooke Eats is hiring for the season!
We’re looking for a seasonal chef/cook to join our food truck team in East Sooke.
We serve smash burgers, fries, poutine, sandwiches, feature items, and house-made sauces, and we’re looking for someone who can help with prep, cooking on the line, and keeping service running smoothly.
We’re primarily looking for someone available weekdays, with shifts usually running around 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, depending on prep and service needs. There may also be some weekend shifts available depending on the week.
This could be a great fit for someone who:
Has kitchen, line cook, food truck, or prep experience
Can work efficiently in a small, fast-paced kitchen
Is reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently
Has strong food safety and cleanliness standards
Has or is willing to get FoodSafe
Has reliable transportation to East Sooke
Pay is $20–$25/hour depending on experience and pay structure, with employee or contractor arrangements available for the right person.
