Dolly’s Diner Hey everyone we are a small drive inn diner located in Somerset, MB. We are both people who love food Daniel is better known as Dicky.

Daniel Leblanc and Holly DeGraeve are the owners of Dolly's Diner which was formally known as GG's. They both have many years of experience in the restaurant business and Daniel even took culinary arts. We look forward to cooking you some good home cooked food.

Welcome to The Road to Dolly’s! 🛣️

One of our favourite parts of owning Dolly’s Diner is hearing all the stories from our customers. Every day we meet people who have travelled from near and far—some are passing through, some have heard about us from a friend, and others simply searched Google for a place to eat and somehow found their way to our little diner in Somerset.

The funny thing is… we always say, “We should remember where everyone is from!” But with the hustle and bustle, we forget!

So we came up with a fun idea.

A while back, we were lucky enough to purchase this incredible signed Kaitlyn Lawes jersey at a fundraiser. As huge curling fans, we wanted to display it somewhere special in the restaurant. Then it hit us… why not turn it into the start of The Road to Dolly’s?

Our new autograph wall is a place where every guest can sign their name and tell us where they’re from. Whether you’re from just down the road, another province, another country, or simply passing through, we’d love for you to leave your mark and become part of our story.

And we especially want our locals to sign it too! ❤️ You don’t have to travel hundreds of kilometres to be part of The Road to Dolly’s. Somerset and our surrounding communities are the heart of this diner, and we’d love for you to add your name and hometown. Years from now, we’ll be able to look back and remember all the amazing people—both neighbours and travellers—who have walked through our doors.

We only started it late yesterday, and it’s already filling up with some really neat names and places. We can’t wait to see just how far The Road to Dolly’s stretches over the years!

A huge thank you to Kaitlyn Lawes for being the very first signature on our wall and helping us kick off what we hope becomes a fun tradition.

Yesterday we treated ourselves to lunch out and decided to try DominYon's in Manitou—and it definitely did not disappoint! The shawarma was absolutely amazing, the burger was delicious, and the service was fantastic from start to finish.

Of course, no trip to Manitou would be complete without stopping at the Burger Shack. It’s always great catching up with Grubby, and we always enjoy supporting another local business.

As fellow restaurant owners, we know how much heart and hard work goes into this industry. We love getting out to try other local spots whenever we can. There are so many great places to eat in our region, and we’re grateful to be part of such a supportive community of small businesses. ❤️

Wow… what a busy few days! ❤️
First of all, thank you to everyone who stopped by this weekend. It was definitely one for the books! We appreciate your patience, your smiles, and every order you placed.
We also took a little time to head over to the SLFN Pow Wow, and we’re so glad we did. The dancers were absolutely incredible, the atmosphere was so welcoming, and the fireworks were a beautiful way to end the evening.
One of our favourite moments was with Bam Bam’s Concession. They were looking for some cooking oil, so we were happy to help them out. Later, when we stopped by, they surprised us with two bannock burger poutines made with vegetarian gravy—and wow, they were amazing! Thank you, Bam Bam’s, for the delicious meal and your kindness.
We truly enjoy supporting other restaurants, food trucks, and local businesses whenever we can. Running a food business is a lot of hard work, and we believe there’s enough room for everyone to succeed. A strong community is built by encouraging, supporting, and celebrating each other. We love seeing local businesses do well and will always cheer them on.
Another highlight of the weekend was hearing so many wonderful comments about our young staff. So many people mentioned how polite, hardworking, and respectful they are. Those compliments mean the world to us because our staff work incredibly hard, especially on busy weekends like this. Even when things get a little chaotic, they show up with positive attitudes and give it their all. We couldn’t be more proud of them, and we truly couldn’t do this without each and every one of them.
Thank you again to everyone who supported us this weekend, and thank you to all the local businesses, vendors, and volunteers who help make weekends like this so special. We’re proud to be part of a community where kindness and support can go a long way. ❤️
