We are a travelling crew of enthusiastic cooks and servers committed to making food at festivals a memorable experience. The smells of flavourful nutritious food from around the world waft from the kitchen. The grill sizzles, the Cappuccino Machine keeps folks in coffee and the Chai cauldron steams away. Each summer we cross western Canada, an excitable and open spirited crew showing up at festiva

ls from Late June until often September. Our staff at the Nomads kitchen is dedicated to saving the planet, we use 100% biodegradable paper products as well as cutlery and cups. As a unit we re-use our own dishes and encourage other festival goers to do the same. Other practices include donating our used deep fryer oil to those who make fuel from it, shopping locally for all our produce, using coolers over refrigerators and non-electronic heating boxes for our food storage. It seems each year another practice is adopted by the Nomads to lessen our environmental foot print, and thats the way we like it.
