As quickly as summer arrived, we’re already starting to say goodbye to our Frozen North summer team!
Yesterday was Mason’s last day with Frozen North, and we want to send a thank you his way for being part of this year’s team. Frozen North is much more than serving ice cream and great local food. At its heart, it’s a youth employment and experiential business training program, giving local students an opportunity to build real-world skills in customer service, operations, entrepreneurship, teamwork, local food systems and small business.
Mason jumped into the experience this summer and helped us bring Frozen North to life at our new Tyhee Lake location. We’re grateful for his contribution, and everything he brought to the team.
As our students finish their summer employment and begin heading off to university or back to school, Frozen North will gradually be winding down for the season too. It’s always bittersweet. We’re proud to see our students move on to their next adventures, but we’ll certainly miss having this crew together!
