Kingfisher is an amazing local team now running their farm cafe out of our Bakehouse, serving up:

Nature doesn’t always follow our schedule.

This year, the lavender is running about two weeks behind, but here’s what we’ve discovered: beauty doesn’t disappear—it just arrives in its own time.

The fields at Apple Hill Lavender are still stunning, and every day they become a little more vibrant. While you stroll through the rows of lavender, we’re proud to partner with Apple Hill to serve Kingfisher Cafe’s fresh-pressed lemonade—the perfect way to cool down and soak in the experience.

Sometimes the best memories come when expectations change. Instead of focusing on what’s late, we’re celebrating what’s here: fresh air, beautiful blooms, local partnerships, and time spent together.

The season may be a little later than usual…

We’re excited to launch Fresh Baked Fridays at Kingfisher Cafe!

Each Friday, we’ll feature a selection of fresh, small-batch baking made with care, and because everything is baked fresh, pre-orders are the best way to make sure you don’t miss out!

This week’s Fresh Baked Friday specials:
🥖 Fresh Cinnamon Raisin Bread Loaf - $7

Why pre-order?
Because our baking is made in limited quantities, pre-ordering helps us bake the right amount, reduces waste, and most importantly, keeps everyone happy… especially the baker! 😄

Tomorrow, our Kingfisher Cafe will be closed so our team can celebrate Canada Day with family and friends.

💜 Our Kingfisher Bakehouse at Apple Hill Lavender will be open from 10 AM–5 PM! While we won’t be serving espresso drinks, we’ll have freshly brewed Kingfisher Coffee, hand-pressed lemonade, our Canadian Panini and Wrap, and plenty of fresh baking waiting for you.

You asked, and we listened!

Even in the summer, many of you told us you missed having a warm bowl of homemade soup at lunch. So Soup Wednesdays are happening at Kingfisher Cafe!

Starting at 11:00 AM every Wednesday, (Canada Day we are closed) we’ll be serving a featured soup while it lasts.

🥦 Today’s Soup: Broccoli Cheddar
💲 $5 per bowl

Perfect on its own, paired with a panini, or enjoyed with friends over good conversation.
