Another wedding cake from the weekend! 🤍💍

I loved how simply and naturally beautiful this one was 🫐

And the flavour combo 🤌👩‍🍳💋

Vanilla cake filled with a layer of tangy lime curd 🍋‍🟩and a blueberry compote 💙 all held together with a sweet vanilla buttercream 🤤

This cake went on a little adventure! 🚢💕

This one travelled all the way from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland for a beautiful wedding! Since travelling with a fully assembled two-tier cake isn’t exactly ideal 😂, the cake made the trip in two separate tiers and the bride assembled it once she arrived.

And she did such a beautiful job! 🥹🤍

This one was a traditional white cake with vanilla buttercream! The soft pink orchids, little touches of gold and all those pretty details came together so perfectly. 🌸✨

Thank you so much to this couple for trusting me with such an important part of your day — even from across the provinces! It was so special to be a little part of your wedding day. 🤍

Just a little bakery update 💕

It’s been a little quiet on here lately, but definitely not because things have been quiet behind the scenes!

I’ve been busy with a few wedding cakes this week, and we’ve also been spending our weekends at the bakery painting, gutting the kitchen, and slowly working our way through everything that needs to be done before the renovations really get going.

There’s still a lot to do, but it’s starting to feel more and more real every time we’re there. 😁

So here’s a tiny peek at the pink! 🎀

I’ll have some wedding cakes to share very soon, and hopefully lots more bakery updates as we go. 💕

The cupcakes were a delicious red velvet paired with vanilla buttercream and the cake was a double layer pound with vanilla buttercream 😋
