We hope everyone enjoyed Dock Street Days 2026 last weekend as much as we did! 😃 We had an absolute BLAST 💥

Saturday evening, we were once again blessed with an incredible act of kindness. Everybody who dined with us that night finished their meals with a surprise. Somebody looking to give back to the community anonymously paid the tab for EVERYONE. 😮 Giving people that kind of news table by table and seeing the looks on their faces never gets old. 💚

We also broke a few of our house records this weekend. I can only hope this young team understands how accomplished they should feel after what they just pulled off and the impact they made for hundreds of people. I ran out of words trying to paint the picture for them. They’re all rockstars. 🙌

And shoutout to Chef Carter pictured below on the docks for the barrel race! Carter came in what we’re going to call a 4-way tie for second place 😁🥈. I think we’ve got his sights set on the NS Pumpkin Regatta this fall. 👀 👍

Last week at the SRHS 2026 Graduation Ceremony, valedictorian Mei Jennings received The Emerald Light bursary for community hospitality 👩🏻‍🎓 👏.

This bursary recognizes graduating students who have demonstrated community impact and taking pride in how their work makes others feel. In Mei’s case, she stood out for her many hours of contribution to Roseway Manor, The Osprey Arts Centre, and more while sharing her talents in piano performance and clearly excelling in academics. 🎹

Congratulations to Mei, and best of luck heading into the next phase of a bright future! 🤝

Monday was our last day of Yui. 🥲

This is a very difficult post to write, as Yui’s talents and capabilities continuously left us at a loss for words. Yui only just completed the 10th grade at SRHS but her intelligence, national-level accomplishments, and witty personality show she’s wise beyond her years and absolutely destined for greatness in any path she pursues. As much as we will miss her, we are excited to see her tackle and conquer the many opportunities that come with life in the city. Any and every team she joins will be just as blessed to have her as we were this year.

Remember us when you’re rich and famous, You Legend. 😜
