Gary and I are very upset that we are not able to serve you all today at the Brokenhead OjibwayNation pow wow. The 2 tier propane regulator died on the food truck last night.. We were hoping that possibly the propane man didn't fill both 100lb tanks, but that is not the problem. Gary filled both tanks and headed for the food truck this morning to see if it would fire up... Unfortunately, the fryers wouldn't heat to the needed temperature... I used up all my resources trying to get a 2 tier propane regulator this morning and we can't get one until tomorrow.... These regulators need to be installed by a licensed gasfitter and then the lines need to be pressure tested before we can fire up the food truck safely... Unfortunately, this is not a possibility today...
We brought the food truck home because we didnt want hungry people waiting for Gorilla Fries Inc. to open... I also, let some of the other food vendors know that we will not be operational today so they can better prep for the day. In hopes that wait times for all you hungry souls won't be too long..
We would like to apologize to all our customers from Brokenhead and afar for not being able to feed you your favorites today.
Also, going forward we will be carrying a spare regulator so this never ever ever happens again.
Thank you all for your understanding and I hope this message explains why we are absent today.
We love coming to your community and we look forward to seeing you all next year.
Gary & Darlene
