Fringe North Festival artist applications are open now!

This year's festival runs Aug 18-22 and is being planned as a live and online event.
Fringe North is committed to equity and inclusion. As such, a minimum of 50% of spots in our 2022 festival will be reserved for Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour (IBPOC). People from all equity deserving groups -including but not limited to LGBTQ2SA+, people with disabilities, low income people, newcomers, seniors, and youth, are strongly encouraged to apply.
If you would like to participate in this year's festival but feel you have a barrier to doing so, please get in touch and we will do our best to support you.

YOU NEED TO KNOW:
We welcome submissions for both live and digital content, in the language of your choice, from any artistic discipline.
The core of the festival has been theatre and performance, but we encourage and celebrate multi-disciplinary submissions.
Spots are awarded on a first come, first served basis, with 50% slots held for IBPOC artists. We are committed to create an accessible and inclusive festival for all, and strongly encourage equity-deserving artists to submit.
Participation fees are waived this year, and we welcome artists at all stages of development!
Fringes support artists first -- 100% of proceeds from ticket sales are paid directly to participating artists. We are also pleased to say all submitted shows of 15+ min will receive a guaranteed income of $100 CND. This means that you will get paid to participate even without selling tickets! Guaranteed funding for shorter content will be based fairly according to length.
