All week is about momos, handmade in our kitchen on Trunk Rd. Pick your favourite:

🥟 Steam: the classic. Soft, juicy, dunk it in achar.
🍲 Jhol: momos swimming in warm, tangy jhol. Peak cold-weather food.
🔥 Fry: golden and crispy outside, juicy inside.
✨ Kurkure: extra crunchy coat. Very loud. Very good.
🌶️ Chilly: tossed in our chilly sauce.
🧡 Tandoori: smoky and tandoori-style.

Happy Dashain, Sault Ste. Marie! 🪔

Dashain has begun, Nepal's biggest family festival. For about two weeks, families plant jamara (barley shoots), fly kites, visit their elders and eat a LOT of good food. On Tika day, elders bless the younger ones with red tika and jamara.

Our family is celebrating right here in the Soo this year, and we'd love to share it with you. Next time you're in, say "Dashain ko shubhakamana!" 🙏
