Anderson Cooper (turtle #1) loves to bask in the sun during his summer holiday at his summer cottage outside his winter greenhouses. Forest (Bernese Mountain Dog) doesn’t quite understand that as he much prefers an air-conditioned house. Gloria Vanderbilt (turtle #2) doesn’t seem to bask in the sun as much, as she’s more of a “cool me off in the deep water” kinda gal. Lately, Anderson has found a way to escape his summer sandbox. We’ve found him twice in the sunken garden but last time he came home trying to crawl back in his water tank. There’s no place like home❤️🐈❤️🐢🐢❤️

W0W. Our first wing night was a rush. We appreciate all of you who came out and a big thank you to High Key Brewing for the tasty sampling.

A lot was going on last night, what with the new phone ordering system and the new cook. We were more than amazed how he jumped right in and didn’t skip a beat.

And thanks so much to all of our wonderful staff for their hard work and running a marathon last night. It’s a big place but you took it on like pros.

Special thanks again to all who came out for our first version of wing night - rookie edition.

We’ll do a repeat next Friday 3 - 9 along with High Key Brewing, with the necessary software improvements on board.🤞

It would be nice to see you all again.

What a day for our first wing, pizza and beer night! Below is a screen shot of our brand new online restaurant ordering system. This screen is specifically for wing night today. It’s Jim-dandy! No worries, we can still take you order verbally if you prefer. We’ve been told it’s very user friendly!☺️

Wing night hours are 3 to 9 pm.

Also, Saskatoon’s own High Key Brewing is coming with lots of samples for you to try.

Fly on out for a few wings and pizza… and beer.

We had a lovely private office party group here today for appetizers by the pool, a succulent class and then the MYOP where everyone made their own pizzas, while we baked them dessert pizzas.

There’s only so many days left this summer, so if you’re thinking of a fun afternoon or evening with your office, clients, stags or stagettes, anniversaries, family reunions or just a group of your besties (to name a few) we can work with you to pull it off seamlessly. We can handle all sorts of weather so if you’re booked on a rainy (or snowy) day we’ve got you covered.

As a special treat (because we all deserve a special treat once in a while) this Saturday and Sunday we’re bringing back the $1 medium size soft ice cream cone (taxes included). Vanilla, chocolate or swirl are your choices this weekend.

BTW, as you probably know it’s really hard to get photos of food and make it look appetizing. But it’s especially hard to get photos of soft ice cream cones in hot weather. We tried our best. But we did find out that for some reason vanilla melts faster than chocolate. Who knew???🍦🤷🍦

For purchases under $5 we appreciate coins so as not to tie up the POS terminals. Might be a good time to check under your couch cushions 🛋️or old coat pockets 🧥lol.

We’re open 10 to 5 Saturdays and Sundays.

BIG BIG day here! Our new menu is ready + today is THE day that we debut our new option to either order with the servers OR try our brand spanking new QR code order on your phone type thingy! It’s so user friendly and so much fun!

Hope you can pop out and give it a go. It’s a beautiful poolside deck day for dining.

Apparently our terracotta bowls aren’t just for succulent classes…🌿🐦

A robin decided they were the perfect place to raise a family!

We are happy to share our shelving carts with these 3 tiny new residents until they’re ready to fly.

It’s a good reminder that our home is a place where life grows.
