Chicken in the Rough started in Oklahoma City in 1936 and became the first franchised restaurant concept in North America. We're one of the few kitchens left in Canada still serving it, and we've been doing it here since 2004. Most people in Sarnia just call it Chicken in the Rough. We're fine with that.
