A young woman trespassed on Seaside Restaurant property last night, July 14, at approximately 10:00 p.m., and was captured on video vandalizing the premises and taking property.
Seaside Restaurant is part of this community. We work hard to create a welcoming place for locals, visitors, and our team, and it is deeply disappointing to see our business treated this way.
The incident was captured on our security cameras, and the footage clearly shows the person involved, as well as the individuals who were with her at the restaurant earlier that evening. The video evidence will be provided to the police.
Earlier in the evening, this young woman had briefly been at the restaurant as a customer, accompanied by an older local man. When it came time to pay, she indicated that she did not have enough money. She then contacted someone to bring her money and pick her up. A woman arrived with a dog, and security footage later captured the three individuals leaving the area together. More than an hour later, additional security footage captured the young woman returning to the property alone, trespassing on the premises, vandalizing property, and taking items.
We believe in community, and community also means accountability and respect for one another. We are asking the person responsible to do the right thing and come forward. We also ask those who were with her earlier that evening, or anyone who recognizes the circumstances described, to encourage her to take responsibility and help resolve this matter appropriately.
